Set up your tent, park that camper, and enjoy a drink around the fire in one of our serene campsites. Each campsite has a private ablution block.
What a delightful stay! The lodge had so much character and I loved being in nature. My room felt like a tree house nestled among the trees and walkways. I had a shower, comfortable bed, and plenty of room for all my stuff. Bring a flashlight/torch to make the walk back to your room after dinner easier. The communal area was comfortable – both inside and outside. I felt very relaxed during my short stay (one night).
Guma Lagoon Camp in the Okavango Delta is truly a breath of fresh air. It’s a haven for fishing and a great place to wake up early to complimentary coffee and tea to watch the most beautiful sunrise you will ever see in your entire life!!!!
The lodge itself is very homely and far from the materialistic, mediocre lifestyle you would get from the high-end lodges you find in the Okavango Delta. It truly makes you feel at home and more down-to-earth. You automatically feel like you are being hosted by a loving family who is ready to show you their backyard.
I say, bring on the bad reviews, so this fishing lodge stays a beautiful hidden gem, forever concealed from people who do not truly see the beauty in Guma Lagoon Camp.
An awesome and authentic experience!
